Today we are going to learn How to Crochet Fall Blanket Afghan. This is a pattern for a beginner level crochet Afghan made with Caron Big Cakes yarn and a size J/10 (6 mm) hook. Other yarns can be used for this pattern too. The pattern can easily be adjusted to a different size (I included the multiple for the stitch in the pattern). You can make a baby blanket or a full-sized bed afghan from this pattern.

The colors remind me of an autumn sunset or a warm fire burning in the fireplace. I love to use crochet items that are useful to help bring the colors of the season into my home decor. You can customize this crochet Fall Blanket Afghan pattern for any season by simply choosing different colors of yarn, or you can choose a loved one’s favorite colors and give this Fall Weekend Throw as a homemade gift.

Finished size is approximately 50 by 33 inches. Two skeins of Caron Big Cakes yarn are needed for this size lapghan.

This laphgan is very easy to make. It is suitable for beginners. Only single crochets and chains are used here.
